Police say suspects stole a truck and trailer full of Hershey and Ferrero Rocher chocolate
Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) are investigating after it says someone stole $100,000 worth of chocolate in Norfolk County during the weekend.
The service said it received a report on Monday about a stolen transport truck and trailer from a business on Vittoria Road in Norfolk County.
According to investigators, the suspects did that Saturday — and the stolen trailer was full of Hershey and Ferrero Rocher chocolate worth $100,000.
The truck was found in the Peel region but the trailer and chocolates are still missing, OPP say.
Police are reviewing surveillance video to try and identity the thieves and are asking anyone with information to come forward.
