Truckers passing through Iowa on Tuesday may be able to snag a free lunch, courtesy of the Iowa Motor Truck Association (IMTA).
On Tuesday, November 16 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., truckers passing through select Iowa weigh stations will receive a boxed lunch (while supplies last) as a token of appreciation from IMTA ahead of the busy holiday shipping season.
“Simply pull into the scale, roll your window down, grab your lunch & head back on the road!” IMTA advised.
The group promised that “ABSOLUTELY NO ENFORCEMENT ACTIVITIES” will be conducted during the lunch giveaway on Tuesday.
