Driver, boss both fail field sobriety test

A truck driver and his boss were both deemed unable to drive after a traffic stop in Canada on Tuesday night.

The incident happened on August 2nd in Clearview Township in Ontario, Canada.

According to Ontario Provincial Police Central Region, an officer stopped the tractor trailer for a roadside inspection on Highway 26. During the inspection, the officer suspected the driver was intoxicated and the driver submitted to a roadside screening, which he failed.

The driver had his license suspended for three days and the officer says he then “dejectedly, and with a handful of “educational paperwork” (tickets), the driver then called his boss to pick him up from the traffic stop.”

When the driver’s boss arrived, the officer determined that he was also under the influence of alcohol. His license was also suspended for three days.
