The Florida Department of Transportation is seeking input on which renovation plan is best for the Interstate 75 rest stop.
The rest stop off of I-75 and Daniels near Gateway, Florida is due for renovations, and FDOT wants drivers’ input on which rest stop version makes the most sense.
FDOT is offering three possible blueprints for the renovation and expansion. Each version reduces motorist parking and increases truck parking, focuses on safety, and creates better access to the stop.
A meeting for the public to speak with project staff was already held on Thursday, February 27th, but the department is still seeking online input on the plans.
The deadline for feedback is March 10th. Details on the project can be found here. Comments can be submitted here.
