TRUCK CRASH: A 73-year-old driver from Hamilton, Ontario, Canada,was extricated from the wreckage after his truck crashed Tuesday morning on the exit ramp from I-94 to 11-Mile Road in Emmett Township. The crash was reported at 5:42 a.m. and firefighters from Emmett and Marshall townships freed the man and he was taken to Bronson Battle Creek for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries, according to the Michigan State Police. Troopers said the truck slid onto its side on a curve on the ramp. The truck was loaded with paint and the ramp was closed several hours as the paint was transferred to another truck and the wreckage cleared. Firefighters returned after noon to wash some of the latex off the roadway.
